Service provided as-is

Optimeaux is a free utility provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will be error-free in every browser environment.

Keep your originals

You are responsible for keeping your original files. Optimeaux processes media locally and does not store it — once you leave or reset, processed files are gone. Always keep your source files.

Browser-based processing varies

Processing happens in your browser using your device's resources. Results, speed, and supported formats can vary by browser, device, and available memory. Very large videos may be impractical on low-memory devices.

No guaranteed compression ratio

Optimeaux does not guarantee a specific compression ratio. Some files (especially already-optimized or small images) may not shrink, and we will always tell you the real result — never claiming savings that did not occur.

Rights to your files

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to process and use the files you optimize. Optimeaux does not verify ownership or licensing.

Sponsor links are third-party

Sponsored advertisements link to third-party sites. Optimeaux and Mandeaux are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. Sponsor links use rel="sponsored nofollow" attributes.
